Right to Work & Visa
As part of our recruitment process, GBS view original right to work documents of each candidate who commences work via GBS.Some examples of your Proof of Right to Work are listed below:
- Australian Passport
- New Zealand Passport
- Full Australian Birth Certificate (if born before 20 August 1986) and a form of photo ID
- Full Australian Birth Certificate (if born on or after 20 August 1986), a form of photo ID and evidence that at least one parent was an Australian citizen or permanent resident at the time of the child's birth
- New Zealand Birth Certificate and photo ID
- Foreign Passport and valid visa
- Australian Citizenship Certificate and photo ID
GBS Recruitment are registered with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, Australian Governments Visa Entitlement Verification Online system, which allows us to verify visa status of any foreign workers immediately.
We can recommend and extend VISA application services by partnering with an immigration specialist. Their services can assist employers and employees to obtain the correct working visas to work in Australia. Assisting you from initial assessment, lodgement of documents/application, liaising with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC), through to appeals.
