About the Role
As Senior Property Manager, you will manage a residential property management portfolio with minimal supervision. This is role is ideal for an experienced, organised, and client-focused professional with a proven track record in end-to-end property management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day property management of a varied portfolio
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, and tradespeople
- Conduct private and open inspections (midweek and rostered Saturdays)
- Process rental applications and prepare tenancy files
- Complete condition reports, lease renewals, and rent reviews
- Manage maintenance requests, repairs, and bond releases
- Assist with landlord payments and arrears management
- Maintain compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act and internal polices
- Manage VCAT matters and attend tribunals as required
- Support the growth of the rental portfolio through appraisals and securing new listings
- Ensure quality control, record keeping, and filing standards are met
- Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in residential property management
- Current Representatives Certificate (essential)
- Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and industry best practices
- Exceptional organisational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, and deliver results
- Strong attention to detail and excellent computer skills
- Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach
