About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and adaptable Park Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a busy accommodation facility. This is a hands-on role requiring a balance of cleaning, administration, and customer service, along with the ability to support team members and maintain a high standard of presentation across the site.
The role is temporary part-time via GBS Recruitment, with a view to permanency after 3-6mths for the right candidate. The days/hours of work are flexible within Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, with no weekends. You will need to hold or be willing to obtain a Police Check, Working with Children’s Check (Employee) and NDIS Check. A casual hourly rate of $33 is on offer, alongside an immediate start.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness across cabins, amenities, and communal areas
- Manage bookings, customer enquiries, and front-of-house interactions
- Process invoices and balance daily transactions
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment of supplies
- Report maintenance and safety issues as required
- Support and guide team members in completing daily tasks
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and operational procedures
- Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or a similar environment (desirable)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good administrative skills and confidence using computer systems
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Conversion to permanency after 3-6mths for the right candidate
