About the role
  
To support their strategic growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified HR Business Partner to join their team in Morwell. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing or related industry.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role covers a broad range of generalist HR activities focused on driving amazing experiences for their people through the delivery of professional high quality HR consulting, advice, and subject matter expertise. 
  
Skills & Experience  
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources or related discipline
  • At least 5 years’ demonstrated experience as an HR professional, preferably within a manufacturing or mining environment
  • Proven experience with the application of Australian legislation and award interpretation
  • Strong ability to provide advice, develop options, make sound judgments, and solve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to build highly effective working relationships by establishing credibility, respect, and rapport with both internal and external networks
  • Excellent influencing and persuasion skills, with the ability to challenge people, situations, and current thinking creatively and effectively
  • Clear, concise, and influential written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work across business units and cover for colleagues as needed
  • Be able to provide expert HR consulting across induction and onboarding, employee experience, performance and development planning, organisation development and design, performance management, cyclical HR activities and coaching our leaders
  • Ability to lead the development and execution of HR projects, initiatives, policies, and procedures under the Managing Director’s guidance
  • Ability to analyse HR data and utilising HR systems to develop solutions and make recommendations
  • Support managers in building high-performing teams and implementing retention strategies
  • Ability to manage complex employee relations issues, performance matters, and investigations
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously
