Our client is a respected traffic management provider delivering professional traffic control services across regional Victoria. Due to an increase in project-based and short-notice works, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and reliable Traffic Controllers for upcoming assignments.
About the Role
This opportunity suits qualified Traffic Controllers who are comfortable with flexible, adhoc work and can travel to various site locations as required. Shifts will vary depending on project needs and may be offered at short notice.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor traffic control plans on site
- Ensure safety of motorists, pedestrians and site personnel
- Set up, operate and pack down traffic control equipment
- Communicate effectively with site teams and supervisors
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
Skills and Experience
- Current Traffic Control qualifications:
- RIIWHS205D/E & RIIWHS302D/E or RIISS00059 & RIISS00061 (or higher)
- TC2/TMI2 & TC3/TMI3 (highly regarded)
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Reliable transport and willingness to travel to site locations
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Strong awareness of safety and site procedures
- Flexible, project-based work
- Opportunity to work with a reputable traffic management operator
- Consistent adhoc shifts for reliable, ticketed workers
