About the Role: Due to continued growth and internal movements, an exciting opportunity has become available within the Accounts team. The business is open to engaging either:
- One Full-Time Accounts Receivable Officer, or
- Two Part-Time Accounts Professionals, sharing responsibilities across the function
The position will support the Financial Controller and Accountant, following sound accounting practices and ensuring the smooth operation of financial and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily accounting routines within the Administration Department
- Record and report financial transactions accurately and on time
- Manage receipts and debtor payments
- Reconcile and process daily bank statements across multiple accounts
- Complete various general ledger reconciliations as directed
- Assist with stock management and processing
- Act as a key point of contact between sales staff, customers, and suppliers
- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and/or receivable
- Ability to complete multiple bank reconciliations daily
- Exceptional attention to detail with fast and accurate data entry
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Professional and confident phone manner with excellent relationship management skills
- Proactive problem-solving ability and initiative to work independently
- Current full driver’s licence required
- Flexible employment structure: Full-time or part-time/job share options
- Standard full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
