Our Fixed Term Contract Recruitment Service is designed to provide flexible, high-quality workforce solutions for defined periods of employment, while maintaining the same rigor and standards applied through our Exclusive / Retained Recruitment Campaign model.
Under this structure, fees are calculated as a proportion of our standard Retained Fee (based on Total Fixed Remuneration, including base salary plus superannuation). This ensures consistency in the quality of search, candidate assessment, and recruitment methodology, regardless of contract length.

At the conclusion of the fixed term period, should the candidate continue in the role or transition into an ongoing appointment, our standard retained recruitment terms apply and any remaining balance of the full placement fee will be payable.
Alternative Engagement Option – Labour Hire (Hourly Rate)
We also offer a Labour Hire hourly rate option, where GBS acts as the employer of record and clients are billed only for hours worked. This is best suited to short-term, flexible, or high-volume workforce needs.
Our Talent Introduction service is designed to create an ongoing connection between organisations and high-quality talent, even when there is no live vacancy advertised.
In this model, GBS proactively introduces suitable candidates to your business as they are identified in the market, or as part of an agreed ongoing talent pipeline.
This may include candidates who are not responding to advertised roles, or professionals we come across through our networks who may be of interest to your organisation now or in the future.
Many clients use this service as a standing arrangement with GBS; for example,
“if you come across an experienced engineer, project manager, or other key professional, please send them through.”
This allows us to continuously ‘float’ strong candidates into your organisation, helping you stay connected to the market and access talent ahead of formal recruitment needs.
A placement fee of 6% of the full-time equivalent (FTE) remuneration package applies when a candidate introduced by GBS is successfully offered and accepts employment.
