Established over 30 years ago and based in Heyfield, Victoria, Australian Sustainable Hardwoods (ASH) is one of the country’s largest, privately owned, hardwood timber mills and manufacturers.
Operating 6 manufacturing lines across two sites, including deep splitting, set length docking, moulding, finger-jointing, laminating, and mass-timber production, ASH offers their customers high-quality timber products at an affordable price. With the installation of Australia’s largest and most complex CNC machine, ASH has continued to expand their range of products to meet the increased demand for their high quality products.

About ASH
ASH values reliable and hardworking people that are self-motivated and use their initiative to complete assigned tasks. You will be required to operate sections of the manufacturing line and work effectively both independently and as a member of a team. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6.00am – 4.00pm (day shift) or 3.00pm- 12.00pm (afternoon shift).
Initially, work completed will involve repetitive manual handling tasks, classified as having medium to heavy physical requirements. Accordingly, you will need to be physically fit and capable of undertaking the inherent requirements of tasks assigned. You will also be required to successfully complete a functional capacity test and a Drug and Alcohol Test.
To maintain the safety of workers onsite, ASH is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Random Drug and Alcohol testing of all employees and contractors is conducted regularly.

- Interview with a GBS Consultant, providing evidence of Rights to Work in Australia, Identification, Certificates, Licences or Qualifications.
- If successful, complete a functional capacity test and a Drug and Alcohol Test onsite at ASH.
- Complete the ASH Induction before commencing work.
