Our client, Australian Surfacing Supplies, is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join their team. This is more than a typical Marketing Coordinator role. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening the company's brand, generating sales opportunities and supporting the national sales team through innovative marketing initiatives.

About the Role
As Marketing Coordinator, you'll take ownership of the company's marketing function, delivering engaging campaigns across digital, print and event channels while continually improving the customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing engaging content across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
- Leading the migration of the company website from WordPress to Shopify and managing ongoing website content and optimisation.
- Implementing SEO strategies to improve online visibility and website performance.
- Creating and coordinating email marketing campaigns and customer communications.
- Monitoring marketing performance, analysing data and preparing monthly reports.
- Coordinating the company's attendance at trade shows, conferences and industry events.
- Supporting the National Sales Manager with marketing collateral, presentations and promotional activities.
- Maintaining consistent branding across all marketing materials.
- Managing relationships with external marketing agencies, designers, web developers and suppliers.
- Identifying new marketing opportunities and contributing to product launches and business growth.
To be successful in this role, you'll be a motivated marketing professional who enjoys balancing creative thinking with strong organisational skills.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline desired but NOT essential
- Experience in a marketing coordination or similar role.
- Experience managing business social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
- Experience with Shopify and WordPress website management.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
- Experience using email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and Google Analytics.
- Experience creating marketing collateral using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Experience within the construction, manufacturing or building products industries will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- A diverse, hands-on marketing role where you'll have genuine ownership of projects.
