About the General Manager role

The General Manager at GTC operates with considerable autonomy, limited only by organisational goals, sales targets, and company policies. This role is responsible for departmental performance, which directly impacts the organisation.
The General Manager is expected to use initiative and innovation to achieve organisational objectives and is accountable to the Managing Director and Principal.
What you will be responsible for
  • Day to day operations
  • Development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives
  • Financial performance of the business
  • Implementation of cost-effective measures to optimise profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and service
  • Human Resources Management  
Essential Skills & Experience  
  • 5+ years as a General Manager or similar executive role.
  • Postgraduate qualifications (or in progress) in a relevant field, or tertiary qualifications with substantial workplace experience (preferred)
  • Technical expertise relevant to the industry and role.
  • Proven success leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong planning, budgeting, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business functions (Finance, HR, Operations).
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
